Luxembourg is a member of Benelux and the European Union and is home to the headquarters of several European institutions, including the Court of Justice, the Court of Auditors, the Secretariat of the European Parliament and the European Investment Bank. It is also a member of NATO and the OECD, among other organisations.
The country boasts a very stable economic and socio-political climate, with low inflation, low unemployment and steady growth.
It is also noted for its financial services sector, which is currently one of the main drivers of the country’s economy and attracts highly qualified finance professionals from around the world.
Luxembourg has three official languages, French, German and Luxembourgish, although much of the population is fluent in other languages, especially English, Italian, Portuguese and, perhaps less commonly, Spanish.
